🤗 Takoyaki Kingdom
The Takoyaki Kingdom is located near Kaiyukan, which is known as the world's largest aquarium, and Tempozan Minato Village, a large commercial facility in the Tempozan business district. It's about a 4-minute walk from Osaka Metro Osaka Port Station to Kaiyukan, and the big Ferris wheel is right in front of you, so you can get even more excited!
The store has two floors, and there is a take-out takoyaki counter on the storefront, and the first floor is an octopayaki izakaya, and the second floor is an all-you-can-eat takoyaki.
When you enter the store, you will be taken to the second floor, where you will be taken to the all-you-can-eat takoyaki area, and when you walk up to the second floor, you will see that all the tables on the second floor are lined with cassette gas stoves, takoyaki plates, sauces, soy sauces, and other seasonings.
There are 3 plans for the lunch course, and although they are all all-you-can-eat takoyaki, there are slight differences. Plan A is 1,500 yen with a la carte drink, Plan B is 2,300 yen with all-you-can-drink (excluding some drinks), and Plan C is 2,600 yen with all-you-can-drink plus side meals. The evening course is the same, but the fee is changed to A (2,100 yen), B (2,700 yen), and C (3,400 yen). Plan A is more popular during the day, and plans B and C are more popular at night.
The ingredients are on a table in the middle of the second floor, and there are plates, chopsticks, and bamboo skewers for turning takoyaki next to them.
There are 12 kinds of ingredients, including octopus, flower sticks, hot dogs, cheese, corn, mochi, green onions, etc., as well as some interesting ingredients such as mentaiko, curry noodles, and Japanese snacks "Baby-Star"! In summer, there are ingredients to prevent heat stroke, such as wasabi and yams.
After bringing the ingredients back to your seat and waiting for the drink and batter to be served, you can grill 20 takoyaki at a time on a special iron plate for takoyaki, and there are lines around the holes, which are used to use bamboo skewers to cut the batter full of holes along the lines, so that it will be easier to turn over.
Before grilling, the staff will explain the tips for grilling takoyaki, which are the following 4 points:
(1) Fill the iron plate with oil and heat it over high heat.
(2) Pour in the batter quickly until it fills the holes.
(3) When baked until you can turn over the four corners, use a bamboo skewer to cut the batter along the lines around the holes, and then turn over
(4) Roll the excess batter into the hole and turn it over to adjust the shape.
In addition to Japanese, there are also explanatory texts in English, so even if you don't know Japanese, you can try it.
The point of pouring the batter is not to pour it directly into the hole, but to let the batter flow through the hole. If you pour it directly into the hole, the batter will easily squirt out and cause burns, so be very careful.
After pouring the batter, you need to quickly put the ingredients, the combination of octopus + green onion + bonito flakes + tempura crumbs is the classic takoyaki, hot dog + corn + cheese is the favorite of children, and the comprehensive seafood taste of octopus + flower branch + green onion, etc., you can add any ingredients to it at will.
The secret to turning it over in a lattice shape along the lines is to use oil that fits the iron pan! It usually takes about 10-15 minutes to eat in one pot.
Serve with your favorite toppings and sauces!
In addition to the octopus meatballs, there are other snacks to choose from, such as fried chicken.
"Homemade fried chicken" and "Kingdom fried takoyaki", if you want to eat these two all-you-can-eat only point C plan, of course, you can also choose a la carte,
