Osaka is known as a place where “food is very important,” and there is a wide variety of restaurants ranging from small, inexpensive stores to high-class restaurants and all-you-can-eat restaurants. Osaka is also a city where the crab food culture has taken root, starting with the famous Kani Dora (Kani Dora-raku).
We've introduced some of the most popular crab restaurants in Osaka. Although they all serve crab, there are different kinds of crab dishes, such as those that are more upscale, those that serve both kaiseki and sushi, those that are limited to seasonal specialties, and those that serve puffer fish for extravagant anniversaries and celebrations. Next time you visit Osaka, make sure you visit your favorite restaurant!
