🤗 01 Toyohashi - Yanno Matsuri

The “Yanno Matsuri” is the largest hand-held fireworks display in the Mikawa area of Aichi Prefecture, and has a long history. 🤗 02 Kiso River - Cormorant Fishing

The Japanese word “Ugai” is a method of fishing with cormorants that has been practiced for 1,300 years. Today, there are four “Ugai (fishermen who tame cormorants to catch fish)” including a woman who performs here.

In the afternoon, you can swim along the Kiso River with a boatman, order a special bento in advance and take a boat ride to see the old Inuyama Castle, and then in the evening, after eating and drinking, you can watch the fishermen catching fish.

The best feature of the whole fishing process is that it can be viewed from a close distance.
